\subsection{Baladin} \subsubsection{Description} Baladin~\cite{Ourselin_MICCAI_2000} is a registration method is based on a pyramidal block-matching algorithm. Blocks are built in the moving image. For each block, the most similar block is searched in the fixed image (exploration). Each paring of blocks defines a displacement vector. The set of displacement vector is finally used to estimate a linear transformation from the fixed to the moving image. \subsubsection{Options} \begin{itemize} % \item \textbf{Initial transformation}: Baladin is able to initialize the image registration process using and initial transformation. The transformation computed by Baladin integrates the initial transformation. % \item \textbf{Coarse and fine pyramid levels}: The registration process use a pyramidal approach where the fixed and the moving images are defined at different resolution. The level 0 corresponds to the image at its original size. Le level 1 correspond to an image twice smaller, etc. The coarse and fine pyramid levels specify the range of levels on which the registration process is performed. % \item \textbf{Gaussian pyramid}: Build the pyramid using a recursive Gaussian filtering. % \item \textbf{RMS}: Use the RMS (root median squares) as an end condition at each pyramid level. % \item ... % \end{itemize} % -a , --iterations % Number of iterations at each pyramid level (default 4). % % --block-size % Block size (in voxels) along the X-, Y-, and Z-axis.
